Four Letter Words
Weekly videos are found on the AngelaSoulutions YouTube Channel. SoulGroup meetings focus on the topics of these instructional videos.
Four-Letter Words, Reclaimed
Throughout this series, we’ll be exploring a collection of small but powerful words—four letters long, but emotionally packed. Not profanity, not insults—but invitations: words like Help, Fear, Self, and this week’s word: LOUD.
These words offer a framework for learning and self-discovery. My hope is that you begin to play with them, reflect on them, and allow them to guide your journey inward.
Best Self Begins with Soul Work
Four-Letter Word of the Week: LOUD
Welcome to Soul Group—and if you're just finding your way here, welcome home. This first Soulution is about gaining awareness of your soul center and aligning with what will become the best version of your Self.
Ego, Lies & Loudness
We live in a media-driven world that sends constant messages to our egos—messages about who we are, who we’re not, and who we should be. And when I say ego, I mean the version of ourselves we show the world.
These messages often push us to:
Fear what we don’t understand
Judge ourselves and others
Compare, even when comparison makes no sense
Let’s pause right here:
No one gets to tell you who you are. That is yours and yours alone.
Fear and judgment don’t lead to growth—they lead to disconnection.
Comparison is always a lie. Even identical twins raised in the same home do not experience life identically. So why do we compare our path to anyone else’s?
So Where Does Soul Work Begin?
The world tries to shape your ego. Soul Work is about returning to your Self. It begins when you become aware that:
The messages your ego receives have nothing to do with your true identity.
Most of those messages? They’re mental lies—a kind of cognitive distortion.
They’re LOUD. They drown out your truth.
Social media. Cultural conditioning. Past trauma. These voices get loud in your head and convince you that you’re not enough. But LOUD doesn’t mean true. That’s where curiosity comes in.
Get Curious, Not Critical
Soul Work asks you to become uniquely curious about yourself.
To observe—not react.
To respond—not perform.
Reacting is often emotional and automatic. Responding is deliberate, thoughtful, and rooted in who you really are—not who the world told you to be.
Best Self Is Possible
If you want to become the best version of your Self, you have to know who you really are beneath the noise.
You have to pause, observe, and question your Self Talk (yep, two more four-letter words).
Your best Self requires Soul Work.
Soul Work begins with awareness.
Awareness begins with curiosity.
You can learn to control the content and quality of your thoughts. You can learn to pause before responding. And that small pause? That’s the first Step toward change.
A Soulful Invitation
